If you’ve ever been around a Basenji, you’ve probably been looking for a baby or a smiling person. This dog breed is another breed with cat-like characteristics. These dogs can take care of themselves for hours like cats. After grooming, you’ll probably find a Basenji looking out the window, watching everything outside. These dogs have proven to be very temperamental and independent. This makes the Basenji a difficult dog breed to train.
4. Afghan Hound
The Afghan Hound is one of the oldest dog breeds known today. They have been around since ancient times and their personalities have not changed much. They are also extremely sensitive and do not have a high level of dominance. Although these dogs do not want to dominate you, their obedience level is quite low. You may have to call your Afghan Hound several times before he comes back inside the house. Many say that the breed’s personality makes up for its lack of intelligence. The Afghan Hound is also reported to be cat-like and prefers to be alone instead of listening to its owner.
5. Borzoi (Russian wolf dog)
